My wonderful husband

Ok so i just have to write and say how wonderful my husband is. David works so hard so that i get to stay home with our Logan. I am so grateful that he goes to work every day so that i don't have to. And in addition to him going to work everyday, after his shower every morning he gets logan up and just plays with him while he gets ready so that i get to sleep and extra twenty minutes everyday. He is absolutely amazing. I am so lucky that he is so patient and loving. Seriously he is absolutely the best husband a girl could ask for!! Now talking for Logan he is the best dad any little boy could ask for!!

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend was a lot of fun and very busy. David had work on Saturday so Logan and i went grocery shopping with my mom and then came home and watched morning conference. Then Hilary, Leslie, and Logan and I went to Arctic Circle for lunch which has been a tradition in my family for years. When we were little we would go between conferences to get the kids meal to get the cool halloween flashlights. We have graduated from that but still go. Logan loves the ice cream cones there and they are the perfect size for him.

Then we came home and watched the afternoon conference. After that David went to dinner with his dad and brothers and Logan and I went to dinner with his mom and sisters and sister in laws. Then we went to Davids brothers house and the kids played while we watched Overboard. Logan really likes playing with other kids. We were there til about one thirty in the morning and then were up early this morning with Logan. Once again we watched morning conference and then went to my parents for omelets. Another family tradition. Then we went home and watched afternoon conference. And once again we went to my parents for dinner and had super nachos. Yet another conference weekend tradition. My family is so chock full of tradtions i love it!! We were so busy but it was so much fun and we got to stay in our jammies all day on Sunday so it was nice!

9 months

I cannot believe Logan is already nine months old. Time flies by so fast when you have a baby. It honestly feels like we were just at the hospital a couple months ago. He had his nine month appointment today and did awesome. He was not supposed to have any shots but we decided to get his flu shot today. So for babies they do half of it at one time and we will do the other half in four weeks. He is so great at getting shots he just let out one little yell and then was happy. He is such a brave kid. And now the moment we have been waiting for for three months. His stats...

Weight- 7th percentile
Height- 11th percentile
Head Circumference- 25 percentile

So needless to say he is little. Or as the Dr. put it Petite. He is not off the charts and he is perfectly healthy. His head is a little big in percentage that the other things but luckily he doesn't look that way. So all in all it was a good appointment. We have a wonderful healthy baby boy who is so amazing!!

Gardener Village

Yesterday was our playdate with my mom, Leslie, and Annie and we went to Gardener village to see all of the witches. It was a lot of fun. Annie would point out each witch that she saw but would not go near any of them. Logan was totally into the witches. We sat him next to this witch and he just played with the fringe on her sleeve and kept on smiling. He loves his fringe.

Then we went to Arctic Circle and Logan ate a little ice cream cone all by himself. Well i helped him til he got to the cone then he did it himself. He sure did love it. He loves ice cream!!

There he goes!

I cannot believe my little baby boy is climbing up the stairs. This is a video of his newest adventure. He first did it while i was in the shower. He climbed up the whole first flight of stairs. Then when i got out of the shower and got the camera ready i didn't know how to make video work so i missed the first two steps. I finally figured it out and got one more stair out of him before he got distracted by his fascinating hands. But today he did it again. The full first flight of stairs. I can't believe how big he is now and all the stuff he is learning to do. It is so fun watching him grow up, but sad at the same time. Being a mom is definitely bitter sweet. You want them to grow but you want them to stay little. Still so fun!!
Ok so i wrote this whole thing and tried to put the video on for over and hour and it wouldn't work. Take my word for it though it is sure cute to see him go up the stairs. He is so big. I will try again at some point to put the video on but not at one in the morning.

Another win!!

It was another great win at Lavell Edwards Stadium. They beat the Wyoming Cowboys 44-0. Awesome. It was the second shutout in a row. And oddly enough the last time they had two shutouts in a row the scores were 59-0 and 44-0 which is what these last two games were!! Isn't that crazy. I guess that just proves that history does repeat itself. We are so lucky that grandma and grandpa Johnson let us use their tickets. This is one of our favorite past times is going to all the games. GO COUGARS!! Keep up the quest to be the best!!

Another Logan First

Alright finally another post. I have not written in a while cause i lost my camera. It was pretty devastating. I could not take any pictures at any fun thing that we did. But i finally found my camera in my parents van underneath the seat. What a relief!! So these past couple weeks logan has learned to pull himself up. He did is a couple times about a month ago but the past couple weeks it is constantly. In this picture he pulled himself up in his crib. He pulls himself up right when he wakes up no matter what time it is. This was probably at about 2:00 am. Doesn't he look like he is being tortured in a prison cell? Anyway when he wakes up and pulls himself up he just cries cause he is too scared to get back down. Hopefully he learns how to soon so we can get more sleep!! I just love all these milestones!!!

Go COUGARS

Today was the first BYU football game of the year and Logans first football game ever. It was a lot of fun. He had so much fun. He jumped and played, and even took a little nap. He was really good until the last quarter when he started getting hungry and a little restless so i missed the last quarter. Bummer. Good thing it was only the first game. Here is David and Logan watching the game.

Me and Logan watching the game.

Grandpa J and Logan watching the game. Leslie was there too you can see a little bit of her.

We had so much fun at Logans first game (and doesn't he look like a stud in his BYU gear). But the day had to come to and end.

And it looks like it ended at the perfect time for Logan. He slept the whole way home.
Oh and ps BYU beat Northern Iowa 41-17. It was awesome!!!

Logan the lion

Today Hilary and i were at shopko and we were getting some crates for my mom. Hilary put a crate over Logans head and we were saying he was a lion in his cage and he was laughing and clapping, he loved it. We took the crate off his head and he started yelling at us. He was so mad that we would take away his cage. So we let him be a lion throughout the rest of our shopping. That little boy sure gets whatever he wants. We are all definitely pushovers. But he is so much fun!!
