4 Months

I cannot believe my little girl is four months already! We had her Dr. appointment today and here are her stats:

Height: 23 1/4 inches- 8%
Weight: 12 lbs. 14 oz.- 22%
Head Circumference: 50%

Some things about Brooklyn at 4 months:
-Is so smiley. We can pretty much always get a smile out of her.
-Still sleeps through the night.
-Can roll from front to back.
-Is starting to teeth and is always putting her hands in her mouth and drooling like crazy!
-Ate watermelon for the first time and did not like it.
-I missed this one, but David got her really laughing by tickling her.
-Loves her big brother so much.
-Is really starting to play with toys.
-Loves to be outside. If only the weather would cooperate with this one.
-Hates to have a wet or stinky diaper.

We love our little Brooklyn and couldn't imagine our family without her.

Funny Things Logan Said...

Logan: I really need to get daddy a Mothers Day present too, because he just tried so hard to become a mother.

Logan had a ballon and was putting the string around his neck. I explained to him that this was very dangerous and not to do it. Then to get more teaching in, I also explained to him (not the for the first time) that we don't put bags on our heads because that will make it so we can't breathe. He popped up and said, "But mom our heads don't breathe!"

We Really Did Celebrate Easter

I am just a slacker at getting it posted. We had a great Easter weekend though. On Saturday morning the Easter Bunny came and brought the kids some fun toys, a movie, and candy.
Then we went bowling with my side of the family. This has become a very fun tradition.
The ramp only lasts a couple of frames and then he wants to do it himself. His ball makes it down the lane eventually.
Yes he got his haircut the next morning!
Logan got to dye some eggs with his Aunt Megan.
We took Easter pictures of the kids. This is the only good one we got. Logan kept closing his eyes because of the sun.
Brooklyn was so good the whole time. Then again she usually is.
We went on an Easter egg hunt at my grandparents house. Logan found almost $5 in his eggs.

And we did an egg drop. Ours didn't even make it through the first round. Thats what happens when you try to throw it together in 10 minutes after church.
This year the egg "drop" was done with a balloon launcher. Definitely a highlight of the weekend.
I love Easter and the feeling it brings. I am so grateful for all that our Savior did for us so that we can be resurrected and live again. And I am so grateful that I get to teach my children the true meaning of Easter.
